Decision: Re-hearing of a portion of a compensation award by the Alberta Land Compensation Board pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.A. 1980, c. E-13. The re-hearing resulted from a previous ruling of the Court of Appeal. The sole issue for consideration on the re-hearing was the appropriate discount rate to be applied to obtain the incremental market value for the presence of a gravel deposit on the Claimant's land. The Board affirmed its original award of $568,000 for market value of the land taken.
