Decision: Application by the Plaintiff expropriating authority for determination of compensation payable following an expropriation conducted in 1969 pursuant to the Expropriation Act, R.S.C. 1970, c. E-19. Full taking of 238 sq. arpents (approximately 281 ac.). The land was taken for purposes of the Mirabel Airport. The court awarded $97,700 for market value of the land taken plus notarial fees and interest for a total award of $111,722. After deduction of advance payments totalling $106,600 the net award was $5,122. Costs were also awarded to the Defendant.
